Biography:

Cindy Moon, also known as Silk, is a Marvel Comics superheroine.

Bitten by the same radioactive spider that empowered Peter Parker, Cindy gained similar abilities, including superhuman strength, speed, agility, and a spider-sense. However, her powers also included the ability to produce organic webbing directly from her fingertips.

For years, Cindy was hidden away by Ezekiel Sims to protect her from Morlun and the Inheritors, beings who hunt spider-powered individuals. Her release from captivity led to her own solo adventures and integration into the wider Marvel Universe.

Silk first appeared in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #1 (April 2014).
